Porting of Number to Packetel?
Does anyone knows any fax service that can port a number over? I currently have eFax for fax to email service, but they charge way too much. I wish to find another service with cheaper cost, but I do not know of any other fax service that allows porting of number. Packetel sound great, but do they allow porting?

Hi Jeremy, from what I understand, fax service is not the same as other large telecommunication company like AT$T. They do not have the porting capability. When you signup with them, they will assign you a fax number. However, you can do forwarding if you already have a fax number.
Porting is not possible. Fax service will give you the number from their service when you signup. If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
