My Fax Service Experiences

My personal experiences with the electronic fax service that i currently use. I currently have the Packetel Fax to email service, which only cost me $3.95 per month and I can receive UNLIMITED receiving ONLY. That right, UNLIMITED receiving. I have been using the service for two years now and I'm loving it. However, the service does not have any outgoing fax, which I need occasationally.

If anyone knows of any fax service that provides outbound for a cheap price, please recommend it to me. I'm looking for a cheap outbound fax service.

If any of you have questions concern the fax service that I'm currently using, please feel free and ask me.

Outgoing Fax

Greeting All, can someone suggest a good outgoing fax service. Please let me know which email fax service has the best rate. Also, do I need a scanner in order to send a fax.

Is the fax Encrypted?

Greeting fellow efax user, when fax sends to the email, is it encrypted? Many sensitive informations are on the faxes, and it seems not very safe to deliver it to the email. Can someone advise?

Porting of Number to Packetel?

Does anyone knows any fax service that can port a number over? I currently have eFax for fax to email service, but they charge way too much. I wish to find another service with cheaper cost, but I do not know of any other fax service that allows porting of number. Packetel sound great, but do they allow porting?
